September 22nd 2023 Work Log
This week the bird attractant and deterrent team met with Dr. Oberloier to discuss publishing a paper to the HardwareX journal. We got data from Jenna Brewer and began working on our paper outline. We are looking into switching to a raspberry pi based system, or some alternative small form factor computer.
September 29th 2023 Work Log
This week the bird attractant and deterrent team worked more on our HardwareX paper. We are continuing work on moving the software over to the raspberry PI.
October 7th 2023 Work Log
This week the bird attractant and deterrent team worked more on the HardwareX paper. We specced out the components for the next design including transformer, and amplifiers. We made the schematic and will order soon.
November 4th 2023 Work Log
This past week the BAD team assembled our next prototype enclosure, and designed and 3D printed a mount for the new display and the keypad. Everything went exceptionally well. We will continue to write the software and integrate the unit.
