Description
BREAD (Broadly Reconfigurable and Expandable Automation Device) is an open-source platform that allows you to develop practically anything. Our Goal is to update and improve chemical engineering department’s bio reactor’s BREAD system.
This semester we plan to implement a new BREAD slice to monitor the pressure in the system, improve the heating PID code, address any issues with rusting found in the bioreactor, and implement an automation sequence via the Bioreactors website.
